I mistakenly used a rayon batik for DH's shirt, and it made the pockets too drapey (my fault). Definitely using buttons on my version. I found some minor drafting errors and instruction omissions in my pattern, but I certainly agree, Margaret Islander had the right idea about so many construction techniques. I LOVE her videos--if you ever get a chance to see them, highly recommended.<br /><br />Yours turned out great in the shirting fabric (that I should have used).
