The Un-selfish Seamstress

The Prom Dress fabric has been ordered (crepe back satin). The Daddy-Daughter dress has been done since February, and is all set for Saturday.
Daddy still needs a dress shirt, though.  Will cut that out tonight...

Saturday was spent making a gift for a dear friend.  I'll give you a sneak peek now, but you'll have to wait to see the finished product.
A few alterations have to be made, then it's getting picked up on Wednesday and packed to cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman.  Lucky dress... and lucky girl!
Yes, I did say "gift".  She's my best friend, has been for 15 years, and I love her dearly.  I'll have more Saturdays to sew, but when will she get to go on another cruise, ya know?
Time to get back to work, check back Wednesday for the "Final Reveal"!

**p.s.  I love The Selfish Seamstress, and mean nothing disrespectful when I refer to her title.  I really don't want to get on her bad side... to become a nemesis would be absolutely terrible.  (Can I campaign for that?)

Well, decide already ... you do or you do not want to be a SS Nemesis, which, of course, would increase your popularity immensely!

Your friend is so fortunate! She will soon be wearing a gorgeous custom sewn dress on a fun, relaxing cruise. I am sure she will think of you while she wears it.
