I think my options are:
1. Shorten the dress into a tunic/top.
2. Turn the pattern pieces and have the stripes run vertical instead of horizontal.
See, the front has to be placed on a fold, which allows me enough to cut 1 back piece, but not 2!
Here is what it would look like if I turned the pattern and wore vertical stripes.
There is a 3rd option, and that is to piece one of the back pieces to finish the hem and match the pattern. I don't think that would look ok!
So, horizontal blouse or vertical dress????

Depends - do you really want a dress? Or do you really want a blouse?
I actually think vertical stripes would be cool combined with all the tucks in the front, so I'd vote dress.
I wouldn't go vertical stripes. When I saw this fabric I immediately thought tunic. I can thoroughly recommend Simplicity 2696. This tunic looks great over white jeans or linen pants.
Bummer. :( I'd shorten it.
Horizontal blouse, IMO. I can't tell from the picture, but can you fold the selvages in to the middle to create 2 folded edges so the front can be on the fold and the back can be doubled?
Make the dress up shorter. Find a fabric in a solid color and put a deep band along the hem to make up the length It is perfect for that dress...
This happened to me with some fun boho like crepe I bought. I didn't want a tunic so I ended up making a maxi skirt. Just a thought!
If you put a horizontal seam in the back, you might have enough fabric for a dress. And because of the busy-ness of the fabric, no one would see it.
